Congratulations to a real AP World Champion!

Matt Engel, North Cape class of 2012 & Waterford High School class of 2016, was one of only 34 students in the world to earn every point possible on on the 2016 AP Macroeconomics Exam.
This amounts to just 0.03% of all 2016 AP Macroeconomics Exam takers. Congratulations Matt!

Reading Workshop

Exciting changes are coming to literacy instruction at North Cape. Over the past two years, we have been closely examining how we teach reading and writing, what current research says, and what models of literacy instruction are producing the best results in other school districts.

We have visited and observed classrooms in other districts that have implemented the Reading Workshop model, and we have come away amazed at students' levels of thinking and engagement. We want this for our students! We are excited to begin this journey with our students next year, and staff have already been actively gearing up for the launch.

We will be hosting a parent information meeting Fall of 2016. More information about this will be mailed out as the date approaches. Until then, please feel free to explore this website!
