Mission Statement
The North Cape Community strives to be the benchmark of academic excellence through superior teaching of an individualized, rigorous curriculum. We are committed to providing innovative and creative learning experiences in a safe, nurturing environment that will assist our students in achieving their greatest potential for success in the global community.
North Cape School District values each student's potential to achieve. Our Highly Qualified teachers are committed to meeting the needs of each individual student. We foster an environment of academic excellence. All students, parents, community members, and staff are partners in education. We support a climate that is safe, orderly, and a positive learning environment.
North Cape School District is located in a small, rural community. This southeastern Wisconsin school district is located in western Racine County. Our students feed into the Waterford Union High School District. This one building district has existed since the 1890s. Our current district population is 200 students in 4-year-old Kindergarten through Eighth grade. Our student population is drawn from the municipalities of: Union Grove, Franksville, Town of Norway, and Waterford.

We are committed to creating a positive, multi-faceted learning environment where students will be given the opportunity to attain skills and knowledge necessary to sustain a successful and productive life.

Wisconsin Information Network for Successful Schools (WINSS) is a resource for educators, parents, and community members interested in educating the hearts and minds of Wisconsin's children. WINSS provides information on what we want our children to know and be able to do, how students are performing, and how our schools are staffed and funded. WINSS also describes the seven characteristics of successful schools - and shared resources that are central to successful schools including leadership, planning tools, professional development and community partnerships.
Under the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) No Child Left Behind (NCLB), all Wisconsin public schools and districts must meet the state's four Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) objectives; Reading Performance; Mathematics Performance; and Graduation or Attendance.
